Data Aquisition system for an Electric Scooter fleet

For Micelio Mobility Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru, India

Micelio Mobility is an EV startup based in Bengaluru India.

I researched and prototyped from scratch multiple iterations of a data-acquisition system for the company's EV scooter fleet, finally building 15 units.

Built and designed the whole pipeline from 3d printing and assembly on the scooters, pcb design, and electronic component selection, to software development

The system uploaded data from 5 onboard sensors to a MySQL database hosted on the cloud.

Barcode based Sorting System

For Aparna Group, Pune, India

Aparna Group is a distributor for MNC's such as Unilever, Kraft, Kellogs.

I handled warehouse and logistics operations and led initiatives to optimize these processes

The company deals with a large range of SKUs ( in the 1000's) which are sorted into bins based on customer orders.

Manually sorting these high number of SKU's is cumbersome and error-prone while also being slow.

Thus a barcode-based light-guided system using a raspberry pi and Arduino's, was built to assist in this process.

This system helped reduce sorting workforce by 50% and reduced sorting time by 20%.

Carbon Fiber Composites at 12C Composites, Pune, India

12C Composites, a company I co-founded, offered turnkey manufacturing solutions in carbon-fiber composites.

We specialized in providing high-quality products with the capacity to produce composites using vacuum bagging and vacuum-assisted resin infusion. Our orders ranged from wind-turbine blades to drone body's to formula student race-car parts

We believed in innovation in our manufacturing processes, and despite being an early-stage startup, invested in rapid prototyping as a means to create complex patterns for our customers.

Custom designed and built Filament winding machine

For 12C Composites, Pune, India

A Filament winding machine is used to wind thin fibers over a pattern to create a composites product. The advantage with the machine is

1) Control over the angle of wrap of the fiber

2) semi-automation of the layup process

3) ability to maintain the desired fiber tension while wrapping.

This project was done while working in 12C Composites.

The design was kept as simple as possible, with the aim to keep the costs to the minimum. I also used in-house 3d printing for parts, wherever possible.
